The Monson Family would like to welcome you to Trail Breaker Kennel’s summer Iditarod lunch and dinner shows. Trail Breaker Kennel is nestled off the beaten path along the Chena River. These lunch and dinner shows are open to tour companies who wish to offer their groups a truly unique Iditarod & mushing experience. Trail Breaker Kennel is home to the late Susan Butcher, legendary musher.
Each lunch and dinner show will share her lifetime of achievements, along with, the history of dog mushing. Guests will enjoy sitting in our comfortable movie tent for a short video featuring Susan’s Iditarod & mushing adventures, before moving over to the dining tent for a scrumptious catered meal & interactive presentation with your guests. There of course will be time left over to play with puppies & mingle with veteran Iditarod and Yukon Quest mushers.
Visits to the kennel are available only through authorized tour companies.
